Your fees are your fees

Uncategorized Oct 30, 2020

Do you play Let's Make a Deal just to keep your doors open or "pad" your numbers?

That's what many docs do because it makes them "feel good".

Feelings don't pay the bills, allow you to take a vacation, or have a "rainy day account".

Your fees are your fees, your recommendations your recommendations.

Don't change your recommendations (or fees) based on whether or not a person has insurance or not, or thinks your fees are "too much".  Too much based on what?????

A heart surgeon would never recommend a quadruple by-pass and settle for a double.  Why? Because he believes he is saving that persons life and that is what they need.

Don't you feel that way about YOUR services?  Most chiropractors don't and that is why we are seeing so many offices close, or docs just getting by.  It shouldn't be like that, and it's not for me and many other Everest Docs.

Unfortunately, chiropractors spend too much time on wanting to be liked rather than being respected. We change what we do just so the patient will "like" us. It makes no sense. Remember docs, you do what you do, your fees are your fees, your recommendations are your recommendations. It's that simple.

It's not a popularity contest. It's a respect contest. They must respect you and VALUE your recommendations if you are ever going to make a change in their lives. If you offer your recommendations and the patient tries to tell you what they want and you allow this you are through. If they knew what was right for them they wouldn't be in your office right now. Be  the doctor, doctor.   Tell the patient what is needed and expected from them. Get them to agree with you and you will have success. If THEY get you to agree with them you will have a miserable practice life.

If you would like to learn how to be able to SHOW the patient where their problem(subluxation) is coming from, create VALUE for your services, AND raise your fees contact us here:   www.everestcoachingsystems.com
